Changes to the Board
Richard Sanzin, has resigned as ERBR President and from all board committees. Richard has agreed to stay in his role with the Eastern Eagles which is great news. His efforts have re-established our juniors and this effort can be seen in a report in the January newsletter.
Richard has given a lot to the region in this past eighteen months and has always been prepared to
promote the sport, question the decisions made by others and more importantly work to ensure this
region has a voice in the sport. Earlier this month Richard led the Men’s Region Side to victory in the
state event and promotion back to the gold tier. It was an achievement, and it was well celebrated
by all present. A report of the event is contained within the January newsletter.
Thank you, Richard, for what you have contributed to Eastern Ranges, and we are sure we are all the
better for it.
As a result of Richard’s resignation, the board has decided that Lyn Baker will be the acting president until the AGM later in the year. Richard Sluggett will take on the position of acting vice-president.
