Finalised Region Sides Championships Playing Schedule 2025

The 2025 Region Sides Championships will be held at Ballarat from 10 – 12 January.

Bowls Victoria have advised of a revised playing schedule, which aims to be more aligned with Pennant conditions.

The four venues being used are Sebastopol, City Oval, Victoria and BMS (Ballarat Memorial Sports).

  • Gold and Silver tiers to remain
  • 2 sections of 4 teams in each tier, for both men’s and women’s
  • Sectional games will be 21 ends, with a time limit of 4 hours
  • Game 1 will be played on Friday 10th January from 2.00pm – 6.00pm (1.45pm roll-up)
  • Game 2 will be played on Saturday 11th January from 9.00am – 1.00pm (8.45am roll-up)
  • Should teams finish Game 2 prior to the 1.00pm time limit, lunches should be available for collection from clubs prior to this timeslot.
  • Game 3 will be played on Saturday 11th January from 1.45pm – 5.45pm (1.30pm roll-up)
  • Final of men’s and women’s gold and silver tiers will be played on Sunday 12th January from 9.00am – 1.00pm (8.45am roll-up)

Please find the sectional draw, including venues below. Each venue will have a Bowls Vic staff member in attendance, plus a qualified ITO.
