ERBR REGION SIDES Selectors 2023
The region is pleased to announce our selectors and managers for the Region Teams event to be held in Moama/ Echuca from May 26 to May 28, 2023.
Men’s: Troy Stafford, Shane Manifold and Rod Nicholson.
Manager- Gordon Baker
Women’s: Patty Whorlow, Trish Cullinane and Lyn Baker (stats).
Joint Managers- Maria Giramondo and Lyn Baker
Bowls Victoria have introduced changes to the event and requirements about each region’s selection process.
Eastern Ranges is mindful of this, and our objective will remain -To identify bowlers who in the opinion of Eastern Ranges are most likely to achieve the best possible results while representing the region at the region sides events.
Selection Criteria:
a. Availability of players within the relevant timeframe.
b. Current club, region, and state performances.
c. Proven ability to play in selected position.
d. Any other factor considered by the selection committee relevant in the circumstances. (BV instruction to select players who have the potential to be selected in state squads.)
