ERBR AGM and Club Delegates Meeting
As previously advised, the Eastern Ranges Annual General Meeting will be
held on Monday 27 September 2021.
Due to the current level of COVID restrictions, this meeting will be
held online. A link to the AGM Meeting room is below.
Attached is the Agenda and 2021 Annual Report.
There is one item of Special Business to be considered at the AGM. The
Board recommends that the Constitution be amended to the effect that the
Financial Year now concludes on 30 June in each year (30 April
previously). For this Resolution to be adopted, 75% of Members entitled
to attend and vote at the AGM will need to agree to this change. It is
important then, that as many Clubs as possible attend the AGM.
With respect to Board/Committee nominations, only four (4) nominations
for Board positions have been received – Bruce Aumann (Chirnside Park),
Tony Buckingham (Hearthmont), Richard Sluggett (Mt Waverley) and John
Strybosch (Vermont South). On the basis that the number of vacancies
exceeds the number of nominations received, no formal ballot is
required. The Constitution allows for the remaining Board and Committee
positions to be filled as casual vacancies.
