State Champions Week Day 2
Day 2 of the 2021 State Champions Week comprising Over 60 Singles, Over
60 Pairs, U18 Championships and Disability Championships concluded with
some mixed results:
Women Over 60 Pairs
Jan Delaney and Gordana Baric (Mulgrave CC) lost in the Semi Final
U18 Open Triples
Olivia Slade (Heathmont), Davis and Taylor-Irwin lost in the Semi Final
Amity Bickley, Kiera Powell and Will Sciberras (Dandenong Club) lost in
the Semi Final
Para Open Singles
Gary Cantwell (Ferntree Gully) finished 4th in Section 2
Lucas Protopapas (Heathmont) winner in Section 4
Shirley Ivanovic (Lilydale) finished 3rd in Section 5
Intellectually Disabled Pairs
Jason Barrett (Mitcham) and J Hosken finished 3rd after sectional play
Campbell Walker (Berwick) and J Lomagno finished 4th after sectional
play
Novice Championships
Round 1 will be played at Mulgrave CC on Sunday 18 April commencing at
.00 am with James Ridd (Blackburn) and Christine Battersby (Mulgrave CC)
representing Eastern Ranges
