2020-2021 Championship Draft Schedule

At the recent ERBR Club Delegates meeting it was agreed that, notwithstanding the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 restrictions and a safe return to play bowls, the Championship Committee should revise the Championship events programme so that all events can be completed within the time frames specified by Bowls Victoria.

This following programme replaces the previous version which was issued some months ago and recognises those new Clubs recently transferred to Eastern Bowls Region from other Regions.

The key dates are as follows:

– Mixed Pairs: Entries close 7 December 2020 with Round 1 commencing 3 January 2021
– Men’s and Women’s Pairs: Entries close 4 January 2021 with Round 1 commencing 17 January 2021
– Men’s and Women’s Singles: Entries close 11 January 2021 with Round 1 commencing 24 January 2021
– Novice Singles: Entries close 11 January 2021 with Round 1 commencing 27 January 2021 (NB All matches scheduled for Mulgrave CC)
– Men’s and Women’s Triples: Entries close 1 February 2021 with Round 1 commencing 14 February 2021
– Men’s and Women’s Over 60’s Singles: Entries close 8 February 2021 with Round 1 commencing 17 February 2021
– Men’s and Women’s Over 60s Pairs: Entries close 8 February 2021 with Round 1 commencing 19 February 2021
– Men’s and Women’s Fours: Entries close 15 February 2021 with Round 1 commencing 28 February 2021
– Men’s and Women’s Champion of Champions: Entries close 1 March with Round 1 commencing 7 March 2021
– Under 18 Championship: dates/venues to be confirmed
